Dear Prayer Partners,
Our schedule has been full these past two months. While most of our meetings have been in Pennsylvania, we have had one in Maryland and one in North Carolina. God has truly blessed us while traveling; we have been able to meet new people and make new friends.
During March, we have had weekend meetings and two mission conferences.
At the first conference we had the opportunity to pass out many flyers for their bus ministry and gospel tracts to the people of their community. The church also has a printing ministry. On one of the days we were able to help put together Spanish John and Romans for the outreach program. On Sunday Josh was able to teach Sunday school, and the junior church. The following week we traveled to western Pennsylvania for the second mission conference of the month where we were able to go door knocking in the snow with some of the church people before going to explore Pittsburg with our host family. On Sunday we were able to do special music and work with the kids.
In April we were able to travel to Marienville, PA for a weekend meeting. Josh was able to preach for all the services and Katye was able to fill in as the pianist. The following two weeks we were able to spend at our sending church helping with Easter preparation. The day after Easter we traveled to North Carolina to a Preachers meeting. While there we were able to make some good contacts. On the Wednesday night after the Preachers meeting we were able to present our ministry at the church that Josh’s sister and her family attend. The following Sunday we had the last meeting of the month, once again in the western part of PA.
Praise
– In the middle of April God opened the door for us to take a short trip to Mexico City at the end of the month.
Prayer requests
– New meetings and safety as we travel.
– The Allison family, as they assist the first church plant purchase new property for the church.
