Dear prayer partners,
At the end of April into the beginning of May we had the opportunity to fly down to Mexico for what was originally planned to be 10 days but our plans are not always God’s plans.
While we were in Mexico we had the opportunity to help with many different things. We started the week by passing out 1,000 flyers for the Children’s day celebration that was the coming Saturday. On the day we had over 90 children plus the adults that attended with them, we pray that the seed that was planted continues to grow and they can be reached for Christ. On Sunday Josh preached in two different churches with Jonathan translating. The following week we had the opportunity to visit a property that Living Hope Baptist Church is looking to purchase. God is truly working in the ministry and we are looking forward to joining them to reach the Mexican people.
The day before we were going to fly out we both had to get a negative covid test in order to come back to the states. Josh’s came back negative and Katye’s was positive. After receiving the news we traveled back to the Allison’s house where we spent a while on the phone trying to figure out the next step in getting back to the states. We had to wait 5 days then visit a doctor and get a note saying we weren’t contagious and we could travel. God truly proved himself during the two weeks we were there, and getting us back home safely.
Once getting home our meetings slowed down as summer approached. We had a few meetings in New York and Maryland. When we weren’t on the road we were able to spend time helping at our sending church in Pennsylvania.
