Dear Prayer Partners,
May
As we approach summer, we find ourselves busy with ministry. We’re so
thankful for all the opportunities to serve here in Mexico. We started the
month celebrating “Día del Niño” (Children’s Day), our first opportunity to
lead an event with the Allinsons assisting us. Forty-three children attended
with their parents. Josh was able to share the gospel, and we’ve been able
to follow up with several who came. We also participated in other events
during the month, including visitation, Mother’s Day, the Ladies Meeting,
and the weekly kids club.
June
We began the month hosting the monthly teen rally, which gave us a
chance to connect with other pastors and their teens. Josh and Katye ran the
games, allowing us to practice our Spanish. Josh has also had more
opportunities to preach at the church and is gradually becoming more
comfortable doing so in Spanish.
God has been working in our visa situation. Our immigration lawyer has
submitted our paperwork, and we are currently awaiting a response from
the Mexican government.

- That God would continue to guide our visa situation.
