Dear Prayer Partners,
MARCH
God allowed our pastor and his wife to visit us for a few days. It was a blessing to see them and to share our burden for the people here. While they were here, we were able to share Mexican culture with them, along with some authentic Mexican food. All of us even tried “brain tacos” for the first time. Josh also preached his first full message in Spanish while our pastor and his wife were here. Each Saturday, we have the opportunity to go out into the community and invite people to church. We’ve seen souls saved and visitors come as a result.
At the end of the month, Bro. Tim Carte came to visit us. He was on staff at Crown College when we were there and is now on deputation to plant a church in New Mexico. He also does a lot of missionary work here in Mexico and visits the country multiple times a year.
APRIL
In April, we were able to celebrate Easter with the church. God blessed us, and we saw 30 people come. We observed the Lord’s Supper together. Both of us were able to participate in special music during the service. At the end of April, Mexico celebrates “Children’s Day.” This year, our church will be hosting an outreach event for kids the first Saturday in May. We have both been involved in planning this event and will be leading the outreach. Please pray with us that many children come and that we can see souls saved.
Our language classes are going well, and we continue to improve. This past week, we spent part of the class learning about the different holidays they celebrate here. It is fascinating to see how different cultures celebrate. It’s exciting to understand the language more and to be able to have simple conversations with the Mexican people.

• We were able to spend some time with visitors from the states.

• We continue to deal with our visa situation.
• Our upcoming outreach events, that souls would be saved.
• Our language learning would continue to improve.
