Dear Prayer Partners,
March and April have been busy months for us, God has truly blessed our travels! We left PA at the end of February and headed down south for a full month of meetings. We started In GA where we were able to present our ministry before traveling to AL for a conference. During that conference, we were blessed to spend time with the children in their school encouraging them in missions. We also had the opportunity to meet up with some friends from college and be refreshed. From there we traveled to KS for a week, TX for a few days, and then finished out the month in OK. During the Conference in OK, Katye was able to reconnect with some people whom she knew growing up. It was a blessing to spend time hearing how God is working in their lives. We then were able to spend Easter Sunday with Katye’s family before heading back to PA for our April meetings.
In April we were able to attend mission conference at our sending church. We also had the opportunity to help in other churches during this time by preaching and playing the piano. Our month ended with a mission conference in West Virginia.
A huge blessing! God has opened the door for us to be able to start the process for our departure date! Our last meeting is scheduled for September 29th in AL, and we will be driving down to the TX border from there. While we were at the mission conference in TX, God brought another missionary family– the Shues who have a ministry of helping missionaries going to Mexico. They have graciously agreed to store our belongings at their ministry for a few weeks while we finish our scheduled meetings. We will then meet up with the Allinsons who will help us drive everything down to Mexico City. We are very excited to soon be on the field where God has called us and are humbled to see His hand guiding us with each step.
Praise
– God has provided a place to store our belongings at the TX border.
– We are now at 75% of support
– Spending time with friends and family as God allows during our travels.
Prayer
– We would raise the rest of our needed support.
– Safety and health as we travel.
