Dear Prayer Partners,
2 Thessalonians 2:4 says, “But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so, we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts.” God has given us the wonderful message of salvation and allows us to take that message into the world around us. How wonderful of a thought is that? Oh, how much more we need to be sharing the Gospel with the world! This month we are praising God for his continued faithfulness. He has now blessed us with 70% of our needed support!
In January, Josh had the opportunity to fill in for a pastor friend in PA on a Sunday morning who had been sick. We then traveled that evening to upstate NY for a meeting. After this, we were able to spend some time enjoying the snow with family before heading to VA for a mission conference. While at the conference, we made many new friends and were encouraged in God’s Word. We were blessed once again by the church voting to take us on during the meeting. After this meeting, we had a few weeks off at home where we were able to get some much-needed rest before we set out on the road again towards the end of February.
During the month of February, we had the opportunity to spend the first couple of weeks with our sending church. During this time, we stopped in to visit a few of our local supporting churches and gave them an update about where we had been and how God had used us. Before leaving for another few months of meetings, we had the chance to help our sending church with one of their community outreach events. God has blessed this effort, and we were able to see many people from the community come and souls were saved!
