Dear Prayer Partners,
July and August brought many new blessings and challenges; we praise God through His faithfulness!
In July, we had the opportunity to attend teen camp with Granite State Baptist Church, one of our supporting churches. While there we developed friendships and encouraged them in their walk with the Lord. God truly blessed and many decisions were made. We are truly thankful to see God at work as we travel on deputation. After camp we then traveled down to Massachusetts, where we were able to present our ministry and see how God is working. God then allowed us to have a week where we didn’t have any meetings, so we traveled to the Summit conference at Solid Rock Baptist Church in New Jersey. It was a refreshing time hearing from God’s Word, meeting new people, and seeing old friends.
After a brief stop in Pennsylvania, we then traveled to Virginia and North Carolina. We traveled back to Pennsylvania for Katye’s surgery. Josh then headed back to Virginia for a meeting by himself while Katye recovered from surgery. After coming back to Pennsylvania to pick Katye up, we had a meeting close to home. Then we traveled to Ohio for 10 days with 3 different churches. Katye was able to reconnect with a couple that she knew growing up. They are working at a church we presented our ministry at in Ashtabula, Ohio. We then traveled to Warren, Ohio before finishing our time with East Sunsbury Baptist Church, helping at their church and Fair Ministry.
During the month of August, in between meetings, Katye was able to have the surgery she needed on her left hand. After a rough first week of recovery, she is doing better and will be starting Physical Therapy on September 5th. Please continue to pray that she will regain full use of her hand.
Praises
– We have a new supporting church bringing us over 40% of our needed support.
– Katye’s surgery went well.
Prayer
– Continued healing for Katye.
– Safety as we travel.
